The H & D letters on the body of XZ-1 stands for Harley Davidson. Oh and about the main thing, I love Olympus color but video is horrible. Seems like having 2011 tech of cam is equal to 2020 phones. It is also surprising as well as fascinating that Sony Xperia 1 mark II has managed to put 1/1.7' sensor to a cellphone with F 1.7 zeiss lens! The TG-6 is fighting against smartphones and 1' nowadays and is managing to still hold its own and sell. These paper comparisons hide a lot of things and do not forget the reviews are relative to similar equipment at the time and the bar raises continuously. Many reviews were unimpressed by the video performance also. Good stills camera but as I like to occasionally use video I sold it fairly quickly. Olympus have got their act together here so the TG-6 and the XZ-2 for that matter were a great improvement. The video was the worst by far I have ever experienced on any camera and I have had a few.
That video score for the XZ-1 seems a bit fanciful.
I love the fact, that zooming acrion happens in a water proof chamber in TG-6, still, by thw year 2020, that cam has smilar specs (optic&sensir size combo) of XZ-1. Well folks, according to DPReview, Olympus XZ-1 smilar if not better specs than 9 years younger TG-6.
